Raymond J. Myszka, 92, Marathon, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2016. He was born March 26, 1924 in Athens, son of the late Jacob and Mary (Nowicki) Myszka. On July 10, 1945 he married Eldora Weisenberger. Survivors include his children, Janice (James) Buchberger, Marathon, Duane (Suzzett) Myszka, Marathon, Jerome (Linda) Myszka, California, Donna Mae (James) Martin, Stevens Point, Larry Myszka, Tomahawk, Lyle (Betty) Myszka, Marathon, Donald (Lynnette) Myszka, Mosinee and Linda (Lloyd) Beckman, Wausau; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three grandsons, two brothers and two sisters. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon was in charge of arrangements.
Orville E. Kneisl, 96, Wausau, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016. He was born March 22, 1920, in Wausau, son of the late William and Katie Kneisl. On July 26, 1941, he married Lorraine Clairmore. Survivors include three daughters, Yvonne (Jim) Schmoll, Denise Bobert and Tammie (special friend, Craig Grahn) Kneisl, all of Wausau; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, Lorraine, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, one brother, a half-brother, and a step-brother. Theresa Mesenberg died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016. Theresa was born July 20, 1925 to John and Anna (Nightengale) Engman in the town of Mosinee. She married Bill Mesenberg June 16, 1945. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill, one son Daniel Mesenberg, and one granddaughter. Also preceding her are her five brothers and her three sisters. Survivors include her eight children, Gary (Linda) Mesenberg, Tomahawk, Kenneth (Linda) Mesenberg, Mosinee, Suzette (Gary) Meyer, Wausau, Allan Mesenberg, Wisconsin Rapids, Rhonda Mesenberg, Wausau, Diane (Tom) Krivoshein, Kronenwetter, Brian (Jennifer Kalmer) Mesenberg, Lufkin, TX, and Lisa (Todd) Domke, Hancock. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau. Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
Constance A. Gregory, 79, Wausau, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016. Constance was born on Sept. 8, 1937 to the late Elmer and Imogene (Wendorf) Edler in Wausau. She married Donald Gregory on Nov. 14, 1966. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her two daughters, Jill Cortright, Wausau, and Kelly (Steve) Stengle, Mosinee; a grandson; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister. Jon L. Caylor, 76, Weston, died Dec. 22, 2016. Jon was born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 23, 1940. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary (Breuer) Caylor, of Weston; daughter Amy Caylor; a grandson; son David Caylor of Greensboro, North Carolina; a sister and many nephews and nieces. George D. Wolff, Jr. died Dec. 23, 2016. George was born Jan. 23, 1922, in Chicago. He married Estelle Blair on Dec. 27, 1945; she preceded him in death. George is survived by his two sons, George D. III, known as Dan (Gale), and Bob (Peg); three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister and one niece and several nephews. Brainard Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
LaMoine Audrey Poeske, 98, Wausau, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016. LaMoine was born Nov. 7, 1918 to the late Albert and Herta (Drake) Johnson in Curtiss. She married Arnold Poeske on June 25, 1938. LaMoine is survived by her daughter-in-law; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a sister; and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sons, Dale, Marshall and recently, Roger; and two siblings. Helke Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
Richard Holmes, 76, Wausau, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016. He was born Oct. 29, 1940, in Tomahawk to the late AT and Carol (Welty) Holmes. On Feb. 13, 1965, he married Veryl Herdrich. Survivors include his wife, Veryl, of Wausau; three daughters, Karen (Bradley) Leitzke of Sheboygan Falls, Kimberly (Stephen) Johnson of Norman, OK, and Kristi (Andrew) Grall of Woodbury, MN; seven grandchildren and one sister. Raymond O. Maas, 92, Ringle, died Christmas Eve 2016. Raymond was born Jan. 14, 1924, in Minocqua, WI, to Marie (Skutkowski) and Otto Maas. He married Marian Pietrowski on June 16, 1951. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marian, his daughter, Lillian, and his two sisters.
