Amy R. Flom
Amy R. Flom, 55, Oviedo, Fla., died Jan. 7, 2017. Amy was born and raised in Wausau, aughter of Donald and Mary Rudell. She married Brad Flom on Dec. 1, 1990. Amy is survived by her husband, her daughter Elise Crawford and her son-in-law, Ryan; her sister and her brother. She was predeceased by her parents. A Memorial service was held Jan. 28 in Florida.
Raymond J. Madden
Raymond J. Madden, 86, Wausau, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017. He was born Dec. 16, 1930 in Wausau, son of the late John and Sophie (Londo) Madden. On June 21, 1975, he married Doris (Dittmar) Hirsch. Survivors include his wife; two children, Gary Madden, Tomahawk, and Barbara Howland, Wausau; one stepdaughter, Laurie (Robin) Kurth, Wausau; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four siblings; a sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one stepson, David (Peggy) Hirsch; and two brothers. Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 18, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, was in charge of arrangements.
Robert J. Haas
Robert J. Haas, 83, Wausau, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017. He was born Sept. 18, 1933, in Wausau, son of the late Robert and Christina (Bantes) Haas. Survivors include his sons, Gilbert (Ann), Glen (fiancée Kristine), Gregory (Tammy) and Gaylen (Jenny) Haas; seven grandchildren; a sister and his wife. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. The funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, Feb. 9, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, was in charge of arrangements.
Leonard Imhoff
Leonard Imhoff, 88, Wausau, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017. He was born in the town of Cassel on April 3, 1928, to the late John and Mary (Handrick) Imhoff. He joined the Navy during WWII and was stationed at Guam serving in SeaBees. He married Loretta Ostrowski on June 29, 1949. Survivors include his four children, Cheryl (Hugh) Gross of Gleason, Gayle (Scott) Maluegge of Merrill, Gregory Imhoff of Wausau, Gary (Erica) Imhoff of Wausau, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one great- great- granddaughter; a sister; a brother- in-law and a two sisters-in-law. Leonard was preceded in death by his wife; two daughters, Linda Imhoff and Eileen Rupe; one great granddaughter; one brother and three sisters. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, Feb. 13. Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, assisted the family.
Jory “J.W.” Weldon DeLoach
Jory “J.W.” Weldon DeLoach, 65, Wausau, died Jan. 31, 2017. Jory was born on March 30, 1951 in Monroe, LA to Oather and Helen (Maberry) DeLoach. Jory was preceded in death by his loving parents, and his two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda, of Wausau; his children, Kirby (Tisa) and Texanna (Jeff) of Longview, TX; Jory (Micaela) of St Paul, MN; John (Jessica) of Twentynine Palms, CA; and Annabeth, Elizabeth and Grace of Wausau; and nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and his brother. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jory was laid to rest on Feb. 8, at Houston National Cemetery. Harold Kottke
Harold, 86, died on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017. He was born November 8, 1930 in the town of Hamburg to the late Gustave and Thersa (Plautz) Kottke. On February 2, 1952 Harold married Merceda Thiede.
Survivors include his son, Darrell (Geri Kay) Kottke of Marathon City, two daughters, Nan Kottke of Wausau, Wanda (Mike) Kramer of Wausau, six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters; four sisters-in-law; and brother-in-law. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, five brothers and five sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 8. Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, assisted the family with arrangements.
Patsy Ruth Moate
Patsy Ruth Moate, 89, Wausau, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017. Patsy was born Jan. 20, 1928, in Rhinelander, daughter of Fred Henry and Ruby Murel (Campbell) Sparbel. She was united in marriage to Samuel Moate on Aug. 9, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters. Patsy is survived by her two sisters and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Friday, Feb. 10. Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, assisted the family with arrangements.
Ruth Nancy Zastrow
Ruth Nancy Zastrow, 86, Wausau, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017. She was born July 13, 1930, to Louis and Erna (Neumann) Zahrt in the town of Easton. She married Leon Zastrow on June 19, 1954. Survivors include her husband; children, Jerelyn (Bruce) Weinke, Dawn (Ronald) Felch, Mark (Leah) Zastrow, and Carla (Mike) Eberhardy; six grandchildren and two sisters. Thomas Norman Seefeldt
Thomas Norman Seefeldt, 70, Wausau, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017. Tom was born June 18, 1946 in Wausau to the late Adolph and Hilda (Koch) Seefeldt. He married Carol Schuetz on June 7, 1969. Tom is survived by his wife; sons, Kurt (Karena) and Steve (Lindsay); and four grandchildren. The funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 13. Barbara Lynn (Lewis) Betts
Barbara Lynn (Lewis) Betts died Feb. 8, 2017. She was born in Wausau on Dec. 23, 1944 to Leonard and Ruth Lewis. She married Theadore J. Betts on March 4, 1963. Survivors include her son, Eric (Anna) Betts of Wausau; daughter, Tina Utecht of Wausau; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and another great-grandson; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brothers and sisters; in-laws; and great-grandson. A memorial gathering took place on Saturday, Feb. 11. Audrey Helen Haase
Audrey Helen Haase, 89, Weston, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017. Audrey was born Dec. 8, 1927 in Kaukauna, Wis., to Herbert and Hulda (Buetow) Specht. On July 10, 1948 she married Daniel R. Haase. Survivors include one son, John (Terri) Haase of Wisconsin Rapids and two daughters Sharon Zastrow (Bob Seemann) of Almond and Diane (Steve) Wilde of Schofield; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a daughter-in-law, a sister-in-law and special cousins and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Daniel L. Haase, a great-grandson, a brother, a sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. A Memorial Service was held Friday, Feb. 10. Judith Ann Hollfelder
Judith Ann Hollfelder, 74, Town of Stettin, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017. She was born on Jan. 2, 1943 in Detroit, Mich. She married Ray Hollfelder on Nov. 20, 1965. He preceded her in death. Judie is survived by her children, Eric (Fiancé Tara Meier) Hollfelder of Wausau and Amy (Craig) Urban of Town of Stettin; four grandchildren. She is further survived by many special family members and friends. A memorial service was held Wednesday, Feb. 8. Brainard Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Stackurski, Dolores
Stackurski, Dolores, 91, Stevens Point, died Feb. 6, 2017. Dolores was born April 20, 1925 in Milwaukee to Joseph and Rose Lewinski. Services were held Saturday, Feb. 11. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Stackurski. She is survived by her five children, James Stackurski of Milwaukee, Romelle Jurkowski (Sonny) of Milwaukee, Alan Stackurski (Ellen) of Appleton, Geralyn Glodowski (Terry) of Amherst Jct., Mariann Marquard (Gary) of Stevens Point and many grand children and great grand children. Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society assisted the family.
David “Gus” Czerwinski
David “Gus” Czerwinski, 64, Wausau, died Feb. 5, 2017. He was born Dec. 16, 1952 in Wausau to Anton “Tony” and Eldine (Duwe) Czerwinski. He is survived by one sister; two brothers; four nephews; four nieces; six great-nephews and ten great-nieces. He is preceded in death by his father. John J. Michael J. Goetz
Michael J. Goetz, 75, Mosinee, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017. He was born Nov. 9, 1941, the son of the late Joseph and Undine (Kleist) Goetz. He married Diane Krueger on Sept. 9, 1961. She preceded him in death. Survivors, include his three children; Joseph “Jay” (Michele) Goetz, Mosinee, Scott Goetz, Cadott, Bonnie (Phillip) Roth, Wausau; nine grandchildren; three brothers; a sister; a cousin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
