Go ‘crazy’ learning math at weekly program at MCPL Edgar Branch
Do you find learning math to be dull and boring? Join the Crazy 8 Math Club and see how fun it can be! Marathon County Public Library will begin offering the weekly club on January 9 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Edgar Branch Library, 224 S. Third Ave., Edgar.
During each session, kids will learn about the math behind some of their favorite activities and then apply what they’ve learned by working on craft and building projects that incorporate math, critical thinking and teamwork. Participants also learn to work together and to accept others’ ideas.
This club will be held every Monday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. though May 22.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-352-3155 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/?event_id=3073.
