Learn to make flower-pounding art prints at MCPL Mosinee Branch
The public is invited to the Marathon County Public Library to learn a creative new way to decorate this summer! MCPL will offer its “MCPL DIY: Floral Pounding for Watercolor Prints” art and craft program for adults on August 14 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mosinee Branch Library, 123 Main St., Mosinee.
Adults will use fresh flowers and leaves to make colorful prints on watercolor paper using the flower pounding method. They can then display the finished prints in a decorative fashion. The library will supply a limited number of flowers, so patrons are encouraged to bring their own fresh flowers and leaves that they would like to use.
This event is free and open to adults with no registration required. For more information, call 715-693-2144 or visit https://mcpl.us/events?event_id=3622.
