Build Your Own Beaded Bracelets (MCPL Mosinee)
Tweens and teens are invited to the Marathon County Public Library to build their own beaded bracelets on August 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mosinee Branch, 123 Main St., Mosinee! An assortment of different types of beads and string will be provided, including plastic and wooden beads, yarn and hemp cord. It’s Your Move: Family Game Night (MCPL Wausau)
Tired of playing the same old games at home? Come to the Marathon County Public Library for a family game night on August 17 from 6-8 p.m. at the MCPL Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau! Bring your family and friends and try out games like Gloom, Exploding Kittens, Bananagrams and Triominos. Cribbage boards and playing cards will be available as well. Free and open to the public. Stuffed Animal Sleepover (MCPL Wausau)
Toddlers, preschoolers and kids through first grade are invited to leave their favorite stuffed animal at the library for a special sleepover! The Marathon County Public Library will host its stuffed animal sleepover on August 17 starting at 6:30 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. Kids will get to hear a bedtime story and tuck in their animals before leaving them at the library overnight, where the animals will hear stories, play with toys and learn all about the library! Pick-up will be August 18 between 9-10:30 a.m., during which time children can hear all about their stuffed friend’s fun night! Free and open to the public with no registration required.
