Faith in Action of Marathon County will hold its ninth annual Holiday ‘Care’-O-ling Concert at Wausau West High School Auditorium. The event will be held Friday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. The ecumenical concert is free for all attendees. A free will offering will be accepted to help support Faith in Action’s mission of helping area seniors maintain independent living throughout Marathon County. In addition, there will be a raffle and bake sale. Special guest Emcee will be Emily Davies of WSAW.

Faith in Action is a non-profit organization that provides supportive services at no charge, to seniors in Marathon County, regardless of income, religious belief or ethnic background. Services are provided by trained volunteers from area congregations, the community, and organizations to help people improve their quality of life and remain independent as long as possible.

Faith in Action provides simple and essential assistance to people with long-term health needs through volunteers, many of whom provide respite care and relief for family caregivers. Other types of assistance offered by Faith in Action include transportation to doctor appointments, shopping for groceries, light housekeeping, minor home repairs and providing companionship through visiting or phoning.
