MCPL Athens Branch to offer game night for grown-ups on August 7
If family game nights consisting of Candyland, Monopoly and Chutes and Ladders are getting a little mundane, leave the kids behind for a night and join the Marathon County Public Library for its “Grown-up Game Night” on August 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Athens Branch Library, 221 Caroline St., Athens.
Adults will have the opportunity to play games that require more strategy, skill and concentration, such as Pinochle, Scrabble and more. Bring a friend, significant other or come solo and play against another library patron!
