SCHOFIELD — Waterstone Mortgage will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17 at their new location at 1030 Grand Avenue, Suite 2. The event will be part of an open house for realtors, title companies, insurance companies and affiliates.

“Having been in the mortgage lending industry since 2000, I pride myself in being very open and down-to-earth with my clients,” said Laura Leonhard, branch manager of Waterstone Mortgage. “I give them every available option so that they are able to make an educated decision regarding home financing.”

Leonhard was named one of the Elite Women in the Mortgage Industry by The Mortgage Professional America in 2015 and named to their Hot 100 list for Movers and Shakers in the Mortgage Industry in 2014. Leonhard was also the recipient of the top five in the nation for volume, USDA Lender by Scotsman Guide in 2012 to 2015.

“My husband and I own a home in the area, with both of my kids just completing their schooling and beginning their careers, here, with me. On most weekends, my family and I can be found traveling around the state with our John Deere pulling tractor named All Buck’d Up.” Added Leonhard.

Laura Leonhard is joined at the business by her son Jordan and her daughter Erica.
“I passed the test to become a loan originator three years ago.” said Jordan Leonhard. “I am excited with everything that I learn daily and enjoy helping our many clients achieve home ownership.”

“Continuing the family tradition, I also started working full-time right after I graduated high school.” said Erica Leonhard. “Being a very social person, I’m excited to meet many new people while making their home-owning dreams come true!”
