WAUSAU, Wis. — A free support series for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one will be meeting in May at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The weekly series is titled, “Finding the Other Side of Sadness; Living the New Normal after loss (Part 2),” and will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on May 9, 16, 23 and 30. The series is free to attend and pre-registration is appreciated.
In this series, learn how to get back to life when it seems that your grief may never heal. The secret is not about escaping the sorrow of grief, but it’s about finding the way to accept life’s challenges and prepare your mind for healing. In this four-week series, participants will be challenged to understand more about their loss, engage in grief work and build new identities.
This group is designed for participants who are ready to discuss and share their path to healing.
This grief group is presented by Wings, a Grief Education Ministry, in partnership with Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services as a community service. For more information, or to pre-register, please call 715-845-4159.
