History Speaks at the Woodson History Center: Preserving Your Family Papers, Photos and Textiles
The Marathon County Historical Society will present “Preserving Your Family Papers, Photos and Textiles” as its next History Speaks topic at 2 pm Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Woodson History Center, 410 McIndoe St., Wausau.
Wondering what to do with those family photos that are just jumbled in a shoebox? Do you have the letters Grandpa sent home from the war? And how are you storing mom’s wedding dress? Curators Linda Forbess and Kathy Volkmann will discuss best practices for caring for and preserving your family’s treasured papers, photographs and textiles.
There is no admission fee; however, donations are appreciated. Registration is not required.
The Historical Society is grateful to Janke Book Store and to Compass Properties for their sponsorship of the History Speaks series.
Visitors might also enjoy visiting our free exhibit halls.
