Visit MCPL Wausau for an anime afternoon on Jan. 23
Teens can spend an afternoon off from school watching anime at the Marathon County Public Library! MCPL will present its next Anime Afternoon on January 23 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Titles that will be screened include “Fairy Tale,” about a teenage wizard searching for a dragon; “The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan,” about a high school girl who, along with her friends, becomes entangled in a mystery; “Steins; Gate,” about a young Tokyo scientist who can send text messages to the past to change the present; and “Fullmetal Alchemist,” about alchemists living in an alternate history with the power of transmutation. All series shown are rated either TV-PG or TV-14.
