Bonnie J. Dalum, 70, Wausau, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016. She was born May 31, 1946 in Wausau, daughter of the late Hugo and Emelia Penn. On July 12, 1985, she married Richard Dalum in Wausau. He preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, one grandson, two siblings, many nieces and nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren. Per Bonnie’s request, no funeral services will be held.

 

Susan M. Bohm, 68, Wausau, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016. She was born Feb. 12, 1948, in Wausau, daughter of the late John and Lorraine (Goulet) Nowak. On Oct. 15, 1985, she married Terry Bohm. Survivors include her husband, Terry, Wausau; one sister; one brother; nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister-in-law. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Marian E. Nowak, 92, Wausau, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016. She was born July 3, 1924, in Halder, WI. She married Joseph in 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Frank and Margaret (Kennedy) Staeck; and six siblings. She is survived by a sister; children, Sally (Don) Bernarde, Susan (Roger) Aho and Joseph Nowak, all of Wausau, and Tom (Catherine) Nowak, Westboro, MA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be Dec. 21 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wausau. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.

 

Loretta A. Saeger, 85, Wausau, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2016. She was born Aug. 6, 1931, in the Town of Berlin to the late Martin and Geneva (Eckes) Grawien. On Sept. 30, 1950, she married Elmer Saeger. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy (Al) Czeck, Wausau, and Kris (Al) Cordova, Tomahawk; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Loretta was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the funeral home. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Sharon A. Majernik, 69, Wausau, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2016. She was born March 1, 1947 in Blackstone, Ill., daughter of the late Edward and Leona (LeGare) Wonders. On Jan. 31, 1970, she married Michael Majernik. Survivors include her husband, Michael Majernik, Wausau, her children, Kimberly Majernik, Palm Harbor, Fla., Jason (Susan) Majernik and Todd (Kendra) Majernik, both of Wausau; four grandchildren; six siblings, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings. A Memorial Mass will be held at Noon, Tuesday, Dec. 20, at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Jonmain Mosiah Davis, son of Morris and LaTonya, gained his angle wings on Dec. 6, 2016. He was born on Feb. 19, 2016. Baby brother to La’Riah, Quran and Shimiyah. Nephew to Monica, Pamela and Keerah; grandson of Michele Mabry. A burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at Restlawn Memorial Park, T4710 N.  Troy St., Wausau. Lois Anna Ramaker died Dec. 15, 2016. She was the daughter of William and Jennie (Lund) Oldenburg, born Oct. 30, 1923. She married Charles Ramaker, July 25, 1947. Survivors include her sons, Jay (Barbara) Ramaker, Ridgefield  WA, Thomas (Bernadette) Ramaker, Edgar, WI, three granddaughters, four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents, her daughter, Karen Werner and a brother. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. at Covenant Community Presbyterian Church, Weston.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Brainard Funeral Home – Everest Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Henry “Hank” Marvin Frank Jr., 90, Brokaw, died Dec. 16, 2016. Hank was born June 15, 1926 in the Town of Weston to the late Henry Sr. and Hattie (Thirsten) Frank. Hank married Ruthelle Wedepohl on June 27, 1953. Hank is survived by his wife, Ruthelle; children, Randy and Rochelle Frank and Renae (Mitch) Butler; a brother; and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by nine siblings; and a step-sister. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Salem Lutheran Church, Wausau. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Wednesday. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

 

Carol J. Little, 83, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2016. Carol was born Jan. 9, 1933, to Helen (Mogensen) Mathie and Richard Mathie. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Little; son Patrick Little and a special aunt. Survivors include her son, Tim, Wausau; two grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law; many cousins, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, Wausau, on Tuesday, Dec. 20. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Helke Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

 

Margaret Gladys Anderson, 98, Wausau, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2016. Margaret was born July 26, 1918, in Wausau to the late Oscar and Laura Christianson. She married Andrew Anderson on May 7, 1938. Margaret is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Nancy) and Marvin (Karen) Anderson; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by nine siblings. Helke Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

 

Eldon Radant died Dec. 11, 2016. Eldon was born Aug. 18, 1923, in Wausau, to Arnold and Hildegard Radant. Helke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Roger Donald Poeske, 71, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. Roger was born Feb. 19, 1945 in Green Bay to Lamoine (Johnson) and the late Arnold Poeske. Roger married Coreen Ann Schmidt on Nov. 20, 1965. Roger is survived by his wife, Coreen; children, Heath (Missy) Poeske, Jason (Leslie) Poeske and Jennifer (Nick) Halsey; four grandchildren; his mother; and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by two brothers. Helke Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

 

Robert Lawrence Balz, 85, died Dec. 15, 2016. Robert was born June 28, 1931, in Wausau to Emil and Agnes (Meyer) Balz.  He married Mary Jane Spulak, his wife of 62 years.  Robert is survived by daughters, Marilyn (Walter) Schmidt, Merrill, Roxanne (John) Thomas, Wausau, Susan (Hap) Zehner, Schofield; one step son Dennis (Inez Parks) Petrowski, Missouri; nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, five siblings. He is preceded in death by his parent, his wife Mary Jane and a brother. Services will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, with visitation at 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon.  John J. Buettgen Funeral Home is assisting family.

 

Calvin J. Grosskopf, 89, Wausau, died Dec. 13, 2016. He was born on Oct. 19, 1927, to Rudolph and Alma (Miller) Grosskopf. He is survived by his wife, Helena (Cider) Grosskopf; two sons, Wayne (Laura) Grosskopf, Daniel (Heidi) Grosskopf; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and one brother. He is preceded in death by one son, Dennis Grosskopf; and two brothers.  John J. Buettgen assisted family.

 

Michelle Stalter (Iczkowski), 50, Wausau, died Dec. 10, 2016. Michelle is the daughter of Frank and Shirley Iczkowski and is survived by her daughter Samantha (Bobbie) Steppert, a grandson, and a sister.  Michelle is preceded in death by a nephew. Visitation will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 22, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. John J. Buettgen Funeral Home is assisting family.

 

Gustave ‘Gus’ Schram, 78, formerly of Ringle, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. He was born on April 3, 1938, in Ringle, the son of the late Gustave and Bertha (Luetschwager) Schram. Survivors include two children, Valli (Keith) Sickler, DePere, and Wade (Jennifer) Schram, Wittenberg; seven grandchildren; one sister, and one nephew. Gus was preceded in death by his parents, and former wife, Shirley Schram. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg, assisted the family.
