Meet a member of the Wausau PD’s paw-lice force at MCPL Wausau
Join the Marathon County Public Library for a special story time about service dogs followed by a demonstration by a crime-fighting canine and his partner. MCPL will offer its “Paws Enforcing Laws” program on Jan. 7 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Marathon County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Cory Gladden and his K-9 partner Radar will show and tell what K-9 dogs do, how they’re trained and how they help fight crime. Please note that because Radar is a working K-9 officer he is not available for petting.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7220 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/?event_id=3261.
