MCPL Marathon City Branch to offer monthly needle arts night

Are you an avid knitter, crocheter, quilter or other kind of needle arts enthusiast? Or are you just starting out and looking for a place to improve your craft? Then visit the Marathon County Public Library for its monthly Needle Arts program on January 16 from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at the library’s Marathon City Branch, 515 Washington St., Marathon City.
All ages and experience levels are invited to gather to work on their own needle arts projects and socialize with one another. Come trade ideas and techniques, pick up a skill from someone else or just chat! The library will provide pattern books for attendees to use, though attendees are asked to bring their own supplies.
Needle Arts is held on the third Wednesday of each month, with future sessions scheduled for February 20, March 20, April 17 and May 15.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-443-2775 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/5803.
