Enter the world of Narnia with events at MCPL Marathon City Branch

The Marathon County Public Library’s Marathon City Branch will turn into the fantastical world of Narnia during Narnia Week, running January 28-30 at the library’s Marathon City Branch, 515 Washington St., Marathon City.
Kids, tweens and teens can attend three different events happening during the week that are inspired by C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia. On January 28, folks can drop in any time between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to make their very own paper plate lions, inspired by The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
On January 29, interested patrons can make their own pine cone forest from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. The week will then wrap up on January 30, when kids, tweens and teens can make their own felt crowns and play a Narnia-themed game of chess from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.! All supplies will be provided for each event.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-443-2775 or visit www.mcpl.us/events.
