Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person who stole items from a vehicle in the Township of Guenther.
On Thursday, Nov. 29, between 1:10 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., a white Ford truck was parked at the intersection of Ledebuhr Road and County Forest 505 Road while the owner went hunting. The vehicle was locked and someone broke into it and stole a Barnett Whitetail Hunter Crossbow, a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine Rifle, and bolt cutters. The year of the rifle was 1945 and it was in a hard gray rifle case. The rifle was a light colored wood with a foldable bayonet on the barrel. The crossbow was camo with an optic which came standard with the Barnett Whitetail Hunter. The loss is estimated at $850.
