MCPL Wausau to screen Pete’s Dragon remake on Dec. 28

Kids and families can get out of the house during winter break and come to the Marathon County Public Library for Family Film Friday on December 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
MCPL will screen the 2016 remake of Pete’s Dragon, about an orphan named Pete who lives in the woods with his dragon friend, Elliot. A park ranger (played by Bryce Dallas Howard), brings Pete into her home and learns all about Elliot and the strong bond that they share. Rated PG, with a running time of 102 minutes.
