Learn the art of still life sketching at MCPL Athens Branch
Even if you don’t consider yourself an artist, you can try your hand at still life sketching on September 24, 25 or 26 at the Marathon County Public Library’s Athens Branch, 221 Caroline St., Athens!
Still life is a genre of art where people draw and paint arrangements of objects, such as fruit or flowers. Library staff will offer a variety of objects for folks to sketch and will also provide how-to books for attendees to reference as they draw. Stop by any time the library is open during the aforementioned days to participate! All supplies will be provided.
