MCPL Marathon City to offer farming conservation program April 4
If you’re a farmer, or are just curious about conservation and healthy soil in farming communities, join us for this interesting presentation on April 4 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Marathon City Branch, 515 Washington St., Marathon City.
Jason Cavadini, agronomist and assistant superintendent at the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County Agricultural Research Station, will share some practices of conservation farming. Patrons are invited to come find out why conservation practices are so important to the future viability of our soil in central Wisconsin and how this type of farming benefits farms and farming communities.
