Crime Stoppers
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to solve a cold case homicide from 1988.
On Nov. 22, 1988, Brian Douglas Jehn’s remains were located in a wooded area south of Mosinee, not far from Hwy. 51 in Marathon County. Brian was last seen on Sept. 23, 1988 at a bar in Wausau. Brian was 38 years old when he was beaten to death.
Law Enforcement believes that someone in the area knows the person or persons responsible for Brian’s brutal killing. We also believe the suspect or suspects may still reside in the area, therefore individuals are reluctant to come forward with information. The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office will aggressively enforce laws meant to protect victims and witnesses of crimes.
We know this is difficult; however, Brian’s children have been living with the knowledge that their father’s killers have gone unpunished for almost 30 years. Please look at Brian’s photo, and help bring closure to this case for the Jehn family and our community.
