Get a start on the ho-ho-holidays with MCPL’s “Letters to Santa” program
The holiday season is right around the corner, so why not get festive by writing a letter to Santa Claus? The Marathon County Public Library can help connect kids and parents to Jolly Old Saint Nick with its “Letters to Santa” program, running November 20 through mid-December and most MCPL locations.
Parents can pick up a blank letter from the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters or from its Edgar, Hatley, Marathon City, Rothschild, Spencer or Stratford Branches beginning November 20. Children can then drop off their completed letter in Santa’s Mailbox at any of the branch libraries any time through December 15 or any time through December 20 in Wausau. The library will send all the letters up to the North Pole and children can expect to receive their handwritten responses by mail in mid-December.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4143.
