Teens: Inspire positive change with embroidery at MCPL Wausau
WAUSAU – Not sure how to address or process the bullying happening around you? Join in crafting cloth Post-It notes that will help remind us all to be the change we wish to see in the world! The Marathon County Public Library will host its “Craftivism: Anti-Bullying Post-It Notes” event on June 21 from 1:30 pm. to 3:30 p.m. at the MCPL Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Teens will first watch a short video on how to embroider and then make cloth Post-It notes embroidered with inspirational messages. They powerful tokens will remind us to be our best selves and can then be given to a friend or classmate who may need some encouragement in their life. All supplies will be provided.
