Crime Stoppers
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your vigilance to help put a stop to the daytime residential burglaries occurring in eastern Marathon County.
On Thursday, June 8, between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., a pole barn on Willow Lane in the Township of Norrie was forcibly entered and several items were stolen which include: a Husqvarna chain saw, a 6hp blue with white top Evinrude boat motor, an impact wrench, a torch set with two tanks a cart and solder kit, and a power washer 3600 PSI. The total loss is estimated at $2,250.
Investigators have developed information indicating that multiple suspects are responsible for the break ins. Two arrests have been made but several firearms are still unaccounted for. To date, investigators have recovered suspected stolen property and are trying to identify the rightful owners. Residents are encouraged to inspect their property for any signs of foul play.
