Tweens: Join MCPL Wausau’s book club for reading, games and more!
Tweens in the Wausau area are encouraged to visit the Marathon County Public Library to chat about our recent book club pick and stick around for some fun competitive challenges after! MCPL will offer its next Chat & Challenge Book Club on April 9 from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Tweens will discuss the book ”The Westing Game” by Ellen Raskin. In the book, the mysterious death of an eccentric millionaire brings together an unlikely assortment of heirs who must uncover the circumstances of his death before they can claim their inheritance.
After the book discussion, tweens can compete against one another in some fun “Minute to Win It”- style challenges! Read the book and join us for this fun and interactive afternoon!
