Learn “sew” much during quilting program at MCPL Marathon City
The Marathon County Public Library will offer a historical look at quilting with its “Quilts of the Great Depression” program, to be held Feb. 20 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at its Marathon City Branch, 515 Washington St., Marathon City.
Local quilting expert Lois Wilhelm will present her collection of quilts from the 1930s and will speak about the quilting style from that era. Wilhelm will also talk about how “made do” throughout the Depression years.
