Pfizer vaccine available for youth 12-15

WAUSAU – The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) recently announced that children 12-15 years old are now eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and vaccinations began May 13.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine requires two doses for full protection and is the first and only vaccine available for this age group. Parents/guardians must give consent for their children to be vaccinated.

The Community Clinic at Northcentral Technical College is serving those aged 12 and older as of May 13. Parents/Guardians must be present for the vaccination. You can make an appointment by calling 1-844-684-1064. Walk-in appointments are available. The clinic is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
