Ribbon cutting held at Ho-Chunk Gaming in Wittenberg
Ho-Chunk Gaming held a grand opening celebration, including a ribbon cutting ceremony, on Wednesday, July 11, at their expanded location along Highway 45 in Wittenberg.
The ribbon cutting ceremony included Ho-Chunk tribal members, local dignitaries, representatives from five Chambers and other guests. The celebration was capped by a firework show that evening.
The $33 million renovation of the facility includes a new 86 room, five story hotel; The River’s Edge restaurant, a renovated snack bar, two full-service bars, non-smoking and high stakes game rooms and an expanded gaming floor. Eighty jobs were created through the expansion.
