Trillium Creek Wedding and Event Barn LLC to celebrate opening with a ribbon cutting

Trillium Creek Wedding and Event Barn LLC will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 18 at 11842 Naugart Dr. The event, which is open to the public, will celebrate the launch of the new business. An open house will be held on Sunday, May 20 from 1-4 p.m.

This historic, rustic-turned-elegant wedding and event barn is located on a country farmstead. The barn, built in the 1890s has been carefully restored to its original splendor. At more than 5,000 square feet, the barn is large enough to host 250-plus guests with bride and groom changing rooms, a catering kitchen and multi-stall restrooms. The entire upper level and outdoor deck can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hour and reception. There’s a covered picnic pavilion adjacent to the barn for outdoor festivities.

In 2015, owner and founder Lisa Reinke saw the barn in complete disarray at a nearby farm.

“As a curator of artisanship, I couldn’t bear the idea of such an iconic 1890s Pomeranian barn being torn down.” said Reinke.

The barn was relocated and construction began in 2016. Reinke wanted to keep the authentic farmstead charm without sacrificing the modern amenities most couples come to expect. She kept all the original barn boards to ensure the rustic look, changing only the lower level’s foundation walls. Hot running water, in-floor heating, a gravel parking lot and lighting set Trillium Creek apart from other barn venues.

The venue hosts weddings, anniversaries, showers, birthdays, reunions and corporate retreats from early May to mid-October.

For more information on the business, please visit Trillium Creek’s website or call them at 715-600-2276.
