Crime Stoppers
Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify a male suspect vandalizing property in downtown Wausau.
Over the course of several days from Friday, Oct. 20, through Monday, Oct. 23, over 40 signs and trash cans were vandalized in Wausau’s downtown area by a type of graffiti known as “tagging.” The labor and materials cost of clean-up was about $1,250. A suspect was observed on video surveillance committing this crime. He is described as wearing a distinguishing pair of red sneakers, dark pants with tight cuffs at the ankles, black baseball hat, grey hoodie, brown jacket and glasses.
