WinMan Trails Announces BaseCamp:

A New Era of Adventure in the Northwoods

FOR MMC

WinMan Trails is excited to announce BaseCamp, an ambitious new project designed to transform WinMan from a day stop into an overnight destination. Offering on-site lodging and a second trailhead, BaseCamp will allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in adventure, with seamless access to biking, hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing on the renowned WinMan trail system.

The Vision Behind BaseCamp

Responding to community feedback, BaseCamp is set to enhance the trail experience while creating a sustainable revenue stream for maintenance and growth. With a range of lodging options—including tent sites, RV sites, and cabins—visitors will now be able to extend their stay, making their adventures longer, more convenient, and more memorable.

An Adventure Launchpad

BaseCamp isn’t just a gateway to WinMan Trails—it’s a launchpad for exploring the entire Northwoods. Visitors will have access to paved trails, pristine waterways, and old-growth forests, supported by local guides, outfitters, and special community events.

Funding the Future

To bring BaseCamp to life, WinMan is launching a capital campaign to raise $1.1 million, with facilities expected to generate over $400,000 annually. Each stay at BaseCamp will help sustain and expand the trail system, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same adventure.
