MCPL Wausau to host virtual visit with professional genealogist

Genealogy enthusiasts are invited to join us at the library for a special genealogy meetup featuring a virtual visit from Eleanor Brinsko, a professional genealogist. This event will take place at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters (300 N. First St., Wausau) on May 12 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Participants will learn about the basics of genealogical research, commonly used resources, and when to pursue a genealogy professional. There will be an opportunity afterwards to ask questions and explore resources independently, with assistance available if needed.

This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7230.
