Annual Holiday Lights to Illuminate The Highground This Winter Season

This winter season, The Highground will transform its plaza walkway into a lighted path of warmth, reflection and remembrance. Veterans, their families and the community are invited to experience the park’s serene winter evenings through this special initiative. The Holiday Lights display can be viewed each evening from November 3 through March 31, 2027, allowing supporters to honor a loved one or recognize a local business. This dedicated lighted display is designed to shape quiet moments of reflection into a spectacular tribute.

Each four-foot tall, illuminated star features 25 LED lights and includes an 8" x 9" personalized tribute card. “We have many visitors during the warmer seasons, but the Holiday Lights offer a beautiful and meaningful reason to visit during the winter months,” shares Donation Coordinator Bonnie Pettis. Sponsoring an Honor Stars for $125 directly supports The Highground’s mission by supporting both daily operations and veteran-focused programs. To customize an Honor Star with personal photographs and special wording, please contact Bonnie at 715-743-4224 or donations@thehighground.org for assistance.
