Visit MCPL Wausau for an evening of open mic poetry on Oct. 12

The Marathon County Public Library’s Random Moments of Verse poetry night is back and looking for local poets to come read their work! The first fall session of this monthly open mic night will be held October 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MCPL’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.

Local poets from around the area are encouraged to come read during this open mic night, and no topic or form of poetry is off-limits! Folks can read their own work, the work of other poets or just sit back and listen (every open mic night needs an audience!) Stop in, listen, and see where the night takes you!
