Teens can spend an afternoon off from school watching anime at the Marathon County Public Library! MCPL will present its next Anime Afternoon on January 23 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Titles that will be screened include "Fairy Tale," about a teenage wizard searching for a dragon; "The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan," about a high school girl who, along with her friends, becomes entangled in a mystery; "Steins; Gate," about a young Tokyo scientist who can send text messages to the past to change the present; and "Fullmetal Alchemist," about alchemists living in an alternate history with the power of transmutation. All series shown are rated either TV-PG or TV-14.
