The annual Veterans Tribute was held on Saturday, August 12, 2024 in the Bull Falls Brewery
Biergarten tent in Wausau. The event organizer and Past Commander of the Wausau American
Legion Post 10 Bob Weller welcomed everyone and introduced the Master of Ceremonies, Dave
Kallaway.
Veterans their families and the public attended the celebration to recognize Veterans and their
service to America. Veterans Ray Bender, U.S. Army, Tom Tyskiewicz U.S. Marines and Darla
Porter U.S. Air Force were nominated by the Wausau American Legion Post 10 and Rothschild
Post 492 and the Man of Honor Society for special recognition. Refreshments and food were
available during the event. Music was provided by DJ James Yunek and the Bull Falls German
Brass Style Band.
