Isaac Newton made many famous scientific discoveries about our world, including ones about light, gravity and motion. Tweens can learn all about this famous scientist by replicating some of his most groundbreaking experiments at the Marathon County Public Library on December 20 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Kids in grades 4-6 will learn about Newton, his discoveries, and then conduct some of his most famous experiments. All supplies will be provided. This event is part of MCPL's dedication to offering programs to students that will strengthen their minds in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).
This event is free and open to tweens, with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/?event_id=2961.
