Kids, tweens and teens can get ready for National Paper Airplane Day on May 26 with a friendly paper airplane contest a few days in advance when the Marathon County Public Library hosts a Paper Airplane Contest on May 24 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at its Mosinee Branch, 123 Main St., Mosinee.
During this event, attendees can experiment with different paper airplane designs, make one and then see which design can go the farthest! Library staff will also discuss the science behind how airplanes work and have paper airplane design books on hand to help spark some ideas. All supplies will be provided.
