Microsoft Excel can be used for many things, from creating simple lists to calculating budgets. Learn more about this program during a free class on January 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. A second, identical class will be held on January 31 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Attendees of the class will learn basic skills to create and format spreadsheets. There will also be a brief introduction to simple formulas within Excel, including auto sum, which can be used for tabulating numbers and data. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice their newly-learned skills and ask questions.
