Instead of diving into homework right after school, tweens and teens can visit the Marathon County Public Library and make some gifts to give to friends and family! MCPL will offer gift giving-themed session of its monthly After School Art program on December 7 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau!
Different hands-on art and craft activities will be offered for tween and teens on the second Thursday of each month. In December, attendees will have the opportunity to make a variety of handmade gifts that they can give away during the holidays, including a galaxy pendant, stamped clay bowl, glitter magnets, a clay bird ornament and more! All supplies will be provided.
This event is free and open to tweens and teens, with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4037.
