The Marathon County Public Library will give patrons a summer camp experience this July with the continuation of its Summer Camp Sundays Film Series! MCPL will offer the third entry in the series – a 1995 Disney live-action comedy – on July 9 from 2-4 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Co-written by Judd Apatow (Freaks and Geeks, Knocked Up), this movie follows a group of underdog kids who discover their beloved summer camp has been sold to crazy fitness fanatic Tony Perkis (Ben Stiller). The kids unite to take back their woodsy hideaway and challenge a rival camp to the most outrageous summer games of all. Rated PG, with a running time of 100 minutes.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information or to find out the film’s title, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/?event_id=3736.
