Make spooky Halloween crafts for tweens and teens at MCPL Wausau

Posted

Instead of diving into homework right after school, tweens and teens can visit the Marathon County Public Library and let your creativity flow! MCPL will offer the first session of its new monthly After School Art program on October 12 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau!

Different hands-on art and craft activities will be offered for tween and teens on the second Thursday of each month. For October, attendees will make spooky Halloween-themed crafts, including a ghost terrarium, spider crowns and Frankenstuffies (Frankenstein-like stuffed animals made from the body parts of other stuffed animals). All supplies will be provided.

This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events?event_id=3870.
