Make a haul with cheap finds at next Friends of MCPL Book Sale

Now that your spring cleaning is complete and you’ve made some space around your home, fill it back up again with some great finds at the next Friends of the Marathon County Public Library Book Sale, happening May 3-6 at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.

The four-day sale will be begin with an exclusive members only sale, held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 3, where Friends of MCPL members will get first dibs at items up for sale. If you’re not a member, you can join on-site for just $10! The sale will open up to the general public on May 4 and 5 (open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and will conclude on May 6 with a special bag sale from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Thousands of items will be up for sale, made up from donations and from items removed from the library’s collection. Items include hardcover and paperback books, audiobooks on CD, music CDs, movies and TV series on DVD, art work and more!
