Microsoft Excel can be used for many things, from creating simple lists to calculating budgets. Visit the Marathon County Public Library for a free introductory class on how to use Excel on August 29 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at MCPL’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. A second, identical session of the class will be held on August 30 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Attendees of the class will learn basic skills to create and format spreadsheets. There will also be a brief introduction to simple formulas within Excel, including auto sum, which can be used for tabulating numbers and data. In addition, participants have the opportunity to practice their newly-learned skills and ask questions.
This event is free and open to the public, with registration required. For more information or to register, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events?event_id=3812.
