Want to make a small basket or bowl to keep your things in? Tweens and teens can learn the ancient technique of fiber art basket-making on July 21 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Rothschild Branch, 211 N. Grand Ave., Rothschild.
Library staff will guide tweens and teens in making small bowls and baskets using the basketry technique of yarn coiling, where yarn is coiled in concentric circles to form rings. All supplies and instruction will be provided.
