Fire Prevention Week is October 8-14 and the Marathon County Public Library is celebrating with a special fire prevention story time on October 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Hatley Branch Library, 435 Curtis Ave., Hatley.
Attendees will hear stories about firemen and fire safety and then meet a real-life firefighter who will talk about their job and fire prevention! A fire truck or rescue vehicle will also be available for children to examine in the library's parking lot.
