Folks are invited to learn about threatened species both here in Wisconsin and around the nation during a free presentation on March 6 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Spencer Branch, 105 S. Park Ave., Spencer.
Pam Resech, wildlife educator with the George W. Mead Wildlife Area, will stop by the Spencer Branch to share information about various species threatened with extinction and other species with populations small enough to be considered endangered. She'll also bring some pelts and other visuals to share.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-659-3996 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4303.
