Join MCPL Wausau for poetic farmer Greg Galbraith on May 11

If you enjoy reading or listening to poetry, then the Marathon County Public Library has an event for you! MCPL will host its next monthly Random Moments of Verse poetry night on May 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.

The evening will begin with an hour of open mic readings, during which anyone (even you!) can read their own poetry or the works of other established poets. The second hour will feature readings by local poet/dairy farmer Greg Galbraith, who recently published his first book of poems and illustrations titled Germinations.

“Random Moments of Verse” will be held on the second Thursday of each month, with future dates including:
