Get started with Facebook during free classes at MCPL Wausau

Do you ever feel like you're missing out on things because you're not on Facebook? Would you like to learn how to use Facebook to better connect with family and friends? The Marathon County Public Library can help, when it hosts its “Facebook Fundamentals – Part 1” class on February 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. A second, identical session of the class will be held on February 6 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

During the class, participants will learn how to create an account, fill out their profile, find friends and post status updates. A follow-up to the class, Facebook Fundamentals – Part 2, will be offered the following week. It is recommended that you attend both sessions.
