Family Treasures Consignment Celebrates 25 years!

The Family Treasures Consignment shop here in Wausau, WI is a treasure itself in more ways than one.  What began as the idea of store owner and manager, Michelle Barrone-Schneider has continued to grow and thrive as a local business over the last 25 years!  While a good number of those who enter its doors are regular consignors making their weekly stop to drop off items, acquire their pay outs and peruse, there are just as many first timers who revel in their exploration of the shop’s assortment of rooms with treasures abound!

The warm smiles and conversations shared amongst customers and shop staff, the delight in discovering exactly what was desired or something uniquely unexpected, and the gain of both good value and good company are all part of what make the Family Treasures shop so special.  Thanks to Michelle for her vision, hard work, kindness and generosity, Family Treasures is more than a store, it is an experience, and a place where community can be found.  If you have not yet made the stop, I encourage you to do so, and preferably when you have the time as there is much to explore and enjoy!
