Cross country ski race at Nine Mile Jan, 14

The Snekkevik Ski Event 2017, sponsored by the Wausau Nordic Ski Club, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., at Nine Mile Forest in Wausau. There will be separate races for both classic and skate cross country ski techniques. There are five different race distances: 3.5K, $8, ages 9-11, 12-13; 6K, $8, ages 14-15, 16-18 (HS); 12K, $25, adults 19+ (both classic and skate race, add $10); 24K, $35, adults 19+ (both classic and skate race, add $10); 1K, free children’s noncompetitive event for ages 9 and under.
